This policy strictly governs the return conditions applicable to orders placed on lumixia.fr.
Any request that does not comply with the conditions below may be refused.
1. Withdrawal period
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have a legal period of 14 calendar days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal.
As a commercial gesture, Lumixia extends this period to 30 days from the order date.
Any request made beyond this period will be refused.
2. Prior authorisation is mandatory
Before any return:
- Customer service must be contacted at: bonjour@lumixia.fr
- The request must be approved in writing by the Lumixia team
- No return will be accepted without prior agreement
Any parcel returned without approval may be refused or sent back to the sender at their own expense.
3. Mandatory acceptance conditions
To be eligible for a refund, the order must be returned:
- Complete (all products included)
- In perfect working order
- In its original packaging
- With all boxes intact
- With all parts, accessories, instruction manuals and packaging bags
- With no signs of use beyond a simple, reasonable trial
Single-use items
Single-use products (e.g. adhesives, consumables, sealed products):
- Must not have been used
- Must not have been opened or unsealed
Any item that is incomplete, used, damaged, or whose packaging is deteriorated may:
- Be refused a refund
- Or receive a partial refund proportionate to the loss of value observed
4. Products not eligible for return
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the following in particular cannot be returned:
- Unsealed goods that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection
- Personalised or made-to-order products
- Single-use items once opened or used

Return shipping costs are entirely at the customer's expense.
The return must be shipped with a tracking number.
Proof of shipment is the customer's responsibility.
Lumixia cannot be held liable for the loss, theft or damage of a returned parcel.
6. Refund
After receipt and inspection of the return:
- The refund is issued via the original payment method
- It is made within a maximum of 14 days following receipt of a compliant return
- Original shipping costs are not refunded unless otherwise required by law
If the conditions set out in this policy are not met, Lumixia reserves the right to refuse the refund or to apply a reduction proportionate to the loss of value observed.
7. Clause on abuse and attempted fraud
Lumixia reserves the right to refuse any return or refund request in the event of:
- An incomplete return, or one containing an item different from the one shipped
- A product clearly used beyond a simple, reasonable trial
- An empty or tampered-with parcel
- Inaccurate or false statements
- Abusive or abnormally repetitive behaviour regarding returns
Where fraud or abuse is legitimately suspected, Lumixia may suspend processing of the case for as long as the necessary checks require.
If fraud is established, no refund will be issued and Lumixia reserves the right to take any appropriate action.
This clause does not affect the exercise of the legal right of withdrawal when it is exercised in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
8. Sale or promotional products
Products on sale or on promotion are subject to the same return conditions as other products, unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
9. Defective product or error attributable to Lumixia
In the event of a defective product or a picking error:
- The customer must contact customer service within 48 hours of receipt
- Evidence (photographs) may be requested
- Once approved, return shipping costs may be covered by Lumixia
10. Legal guarantees
Independently of this commercial policy, the products benefit from:
- The legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code)
- The guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code)
