bonjour@lumixia.fr

No batteries to buy. The Dotia™ is a rechargeable wireless lamp equipped with a built-in 2,000 mAh battery, just like your phone.

No batteries to buy. The Dotia™ has a built-in rechargeable battery, just like your phone.

When it's low, you plug in the included USB-C cable (the same type as most modern chargers), and you're good to go. The indicator light turns red while charging, then green when full. Simple.

Pro tip: Perform a full charge before the very first use; it preserves the battery's lifespan in the long run.

✓ USB-C cable included in the box
✓ Compatible with any 5V charger
✓ Zero batteries to change, zero surprises

This is THE question everyone is asking, and it's completely normal.

The Dotia™ comes with professional 3M adhesive, the same used in hotels and offices. On the vast majority of smooth walls (wood, glass, marble, smooth paint), it holds without leaving a trace.

The only case to watch out for: very recent paint (less than 3 weeks old) or fragile wallpaper. In this case, do a small discreet test, or use the screws provided.

To remove the mount cleanly, two simple tips:

• Run a hairdryer over the adhesive for 10 seconds. The heat softens the glue and the mount peels off effortlessly.

• Apply a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the edges. It gently dissolves the glue, without damaging the paint or wallpaper.

✓ Perfect for renters
✓ No drilling required
✓ Screws included if you prefer a permanent fixture

That's the beauty of a rechargeable cordless lamp: no tools, no electrician, no cables. Installation takes less than 2 minutes.

Method 1 — Adhesive (no drilling): Remove the protective film, stick the bracket to the wall, press for 30 seconds. It's fixed. Recommended for smooth, painted walls, wood, glass, and marble surfaces.

Method 2 — Screws (with drilling): Screw the bracket directly into the wall. Recommended for concrete, cement, or thick wood. Screws and anchors are included.

In both cases, the lamp then attaches to its magnetic bracket and can be removed just as easily for recharging.

✓ Ideal where there's no power outlet
✓ No dangling cables
✓ Can be moved as many times as you like

It depends on how you use it:

• Full power (maximum brightness): approximately 3 to 5 hours

• Normal use (medium brightness): 8 to 12 hours

• As a soft night light (low brightness): up to 20 hours

In practice, if you turn it on for 2 hours every evening, you'll recharge it about once a week.

And the good news is: the charging time is only 2 to 3 hours maximum. Most competing lamps take 4 to 6 hours. The Dotia™ charges twice as fast.

This is one of the major advantages of a rechargeable cordless lamp compared to battery-powered models: no batteries to buy, a battery that recharges in a few hours, and ample battery life for daily use.

✓ Up to 20 hours of battery life
✓ Full recharge in 2-3 hours
✓ Green indicator light when the battery is full

The Dotia™ offers 3 different light settings, which you can change with its remote control or the touch control on the lamp:

Warm light — 3,000K

The light of a candle or a sunset. Perfect for relaxing in the evening, creating a cozy atmosphere in the bedroom or living room. Ideal before sleeping or in the evening, it does not strain the eyes.

Natural light — 4,500K

The light of a beautiful cloudy day. Neither too warm, nor too cold. Perfect for reading, working, or putting on makeup. The right balance for the whole day.

Cool / white light — 6,500K

The light of a sunny day at noon. Bright and clear, it boosts concentration. Ideal for lighting your desk, or when you need precise lighting.

✓ 3 settings in one click
✓ Each setting is adjustable to 5 brightness levels
✓ The lamp remembers your last setting

Yes, and it's even one of its strong points.

The Dotia™ has two independent beams: an adjustable reading light on one side, and an ambient night light on the other. You can use them together or separately.

For comfortable reading, we recommend natural light (4,500K). It replicates daylight and doesn't strain your eyes, even for hours.

You can also adjust the brightness to 5 levels via the remote control, from your bed, without moving. And set a timer for it to turn off automatically when you fall asleep.

✓ Adjustable beam
✓ Remote control included
✓ Timer 30min / 1h / 2h
✓ Zero cables above the bed

No, the Dotia™ does not detect movement.

However, it has a built-in timer: once switched on, you can program it to switch off automatically after 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours. This is convenient for falling asleep without having to think about it.

If you are looking for a motion-sensor lamp for a hallway, entrance, or staircase, take a look at our Lunia™ LED Strip. It has an intelligent sensor and switches on automatically when you pass by. Exactly what you need for high-traffic areas.

✓ Dotia™ Timer: 30min / 1h / 2h
✓ Motion sensor: see the Lunia™ by clicking here

No, the LEDs are integrated and not replaceable. But that's a very good thing.

Unlike a traditional light bulb that burns out after a few months, Dotia™ LEDs have a lifespan of 50,000 hours.

To give you an idea: if you use it 3 hours a day, it will last for over 45 years before the light starts to dim. You'll never have to change anything.

✓ 50,000 hour lifespan
✓ No maintenance costs
✓ 2-year warranty included

Yes, everything is included in the box. You don't need to buy anything extra.

Contents of the Dotia™ box:
• The Dotia™ lamp
• Its wall mount
• The infrared remote control
• The USB-C charging cable
• 3M adhesive
• Screws and anchors
• The user manual

The remote control allows you to: turn the two beams on/off separately, adjust the brightness to 5 levels, choose from 3 lighting atmospheres, and program the timer. Range: up to 3 meters.

✓ All-inclusive, ready to use
✓ No accessories to buy separately

Yes, with light exposure.

The Dotia™ can be installed under an awning, a covered veranda, a patio cover, or a protected balcony. It can withstand light humidity and normal temperature variations.

However, it is not designed for direct rain, immersion, or intense freezing. If your location is directly exposed to the elements, we recommend a lamp with waterproof certification (IP44 or higher).

✓ Covered patio
✓ Veranda
✓ Sheltered balcony
✗ Direct rain ✗ Intense freezing

That said, to benefit from the best price, the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, and direct Lumixia customer service, ordering on lumixia.fr remains the best option.

A rechargeable cordless lamp is a light fixture that runs on an integrated battery, without any permanent electrical connection. Unlike classic wall lights that require an electrical supply (and therefore an electrician's intervention), the Dotia™ can be attached anywhere in seconds and simply recharges via USB-C, like a smartphone.

What distinguishes the Dotia™ from other rechargeable cordless lamps on the market: its 2,000 mAh battery offers up to 20 hours of autonomy, its head rotates 360° to direct the light exactly where you want it, and its 3 color temperatures (warm, natural, cold) cover all uses — from nightlight to work lighting.

✓ No electrical installation required

✓ Recharges in 2-3 hours via USB-C

✓ Up to 20 hours of battery life

That's precisely the great advantage of a rechargeable cordless lamp like the Dotia™: it can be installed anywhere there's no outlet or power supply. The most popular locations among our customers:

• Above the bed, as a wall-mounted bedside lamp — no cables on the nightstand

• In a hallway or entrance without an outlet — ideal for lighting passageways

• Above a painting or work of art — the adjustable head highlights your frames

• In a staircase — without having to run wires along the steps

• On a covered terrace or sheltered balcony — to create an atmosphere in the evening

• In a dressing room or closet — auxiliary lighting without installation

Thanks to the magnetic attachment, you can also move it from one room to another as needed. It's not fixed to the wall like a wired wall sconce.

✓ Installs in 2 minutes, moves infinitely

✓ Anywhere you have no outlet, no wires, and no electrician

We also offer our 3+1 Dotia pack, which includes a magnetic desk stand. Thanks to this accessory, you can transform your lighting into a fixed lamp, ideal as a desk lamp or bedside lamp. A practical and versatile solution to adapt your lighting to all your needs.

Yes, the Dotia™ is a 100% wireless, rechargeable lamp. On a daily basis, no cables come out of the wall, and no nearby outlet is needed. The only time a cable is involved is for charging: you detach the lamp from its magnetic holder, plug in the supplied USB-C cable to any charger, and 2 to 3 hours later, it's ready for days of use.

This is what differentiates it from a classic wall lamp: no need to cut into the wall, no electrician, no dangling wires. You attach it, you turn it on, that's it. And for even more convenience, we also offer an 8-port charging station to charge all your Dotia lamps at once.

✓ No visible cables in daily use

✓ Occasional USB-C charging

✓ No need for an outlet near the installation location
